SMILE, CLC’s customer service program, stands for Service, Mission, Integrity, Leadership, and Excellence.Mike Pecora – Facilities Services Director

As a team member arrived at Clermont Park for work her tire blew out.  She was frantic because her husband was traveling and she was not sure what to do.  When she shared her situation with Mike Pecora he responded by saying he would take care of it for her later that day.

Sure enough, later that afternoon Mike asked the team member for her keys so he could change her tire.  Mike took the tire off of car and took it into Discount Tire who told him it was unrepairable.  Mike then returned to the community and provided the team member with a business card from Discount Tire so she could call and make payment, which she did.  Once this was done, Mike drove back to discount tire and retrieved the new tire, drove back to Clermont, and put the tire on her car.

The team member thanked him and told him next time he goes out to golf she wanted to pay for his round.  Mike responded by saying, “there is no need for that this is what we do for family.”  Mike’s actions are that of love and unselfish concern for others.
