“Education is not the filling of a pot but the lighting of a fire”
– W.B. Yeats
At Clermont Park, we understand how important it is for residents to find engaging ways to keep their retirement and lives moving forward. Out of that inspiration, the Clermont Park College of Creative Life began offering a structured course schedule in the summer of 2014. No matter your age or the level of support you need, everyone has the ability to learn and stimulate their mind. After all, learning is something we do throughout our entire lives and it plays a big part in helping seniors stay happy and healthy.
Learn more about our residents and their experiences at our senior living community. You’ll find stories and reviews about the joys and comforts of retirement living.
The structured course schedule is offered by residents, guests and team members that fall into four distinct categories:
For older adults, learning offers the opportunity to expand your horizons. Learning something new can help build your self-esteem, give you confidence and offers a great way to meet new people. It’s common for everyone to have something that they’ve always wanted to learn. And now that you’re retired, you have the time to make it happen. The hardest part is finding a place to start your learning journey.
The Clermont Park College of Creative Life is your opportunity to learn something new. For more information about our classes and schedule, contact our friendly team today.
If you’re a caregiver for an older adult, you shouldn’t have to go it alone. Adult Day Program* at Clermont Park can provide your parent or other loved one with essential senior care and a stimulating social environment, while giving you much-needed relief. You’ll have the freedom to handle personal business, go to work, or just relax while knowing your loved one is safe and well-cared for.
