Clermont Park Resident Honored as Denver7 Everyday Hero

June 23, 2021

Ed Childs has been Clermont Park’s volunteer groundskeeper for years, spending time planting and tending to the gardens in the community. Developing his green thumb from his mother and grandmother, Ed brings joy to all of Clermont Park through his love of gardening and care for his neighbors. In appreciation for all he has done for the community, Ed’s neighbors banded together this spring to surprise him with a new golf cart to assist him as he tends to the grounds. They also nominated him to Denver7 News, and he was recently honored as a Denver7 Everyday Hero!
