Art Brings Life!

April 25, 2018

At Clermont Park, Our Adult Day Club has a great program called Memories in the Making. This artistic endeavor is an Alzheimer’s Association initiative. We have a Memories in the Making watercolor class that is held here twice a month and jointly run by Tom Sanders, a wonderful volunteer, and Jane Adams, the coordinator of our Adult Day Club.

One of Adult Day’s most enthusiastic participants is Pat Tobey. She is very active in the Memories in the Making class and thoroughly enjoys painting. One of her watercolor works was chosen to go to this year’s auction. Pat, her family, fellow Club participants, and team members could not be more thrilled and excited for her. We had a party to celebrate Pat’s outstanding achievement.

Pat was born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and attended The University of Colorado at Boulder where she met her husband Robert. She is an excellent artist and has always pursued her talent and interest in creating art.

If you’d like to learn more about how the older adult you love can be part of our active and engaged Adult Day program, give us a call at 720-961-9464.
