We are pleased to share that Clermont Park’s Executive Director, Don Backstrom, has been appointed by Governor Jared Polis to the Colorado Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators. Backstrom will serve on the Board of Examiners through July 1, 2025.
The Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators is the governing body that regulates and licenses nursing home administrators, with the mission of safeguarding the safety, health and welfare of Colorado’s nursing home residents. In his role, Backstrom will review licenses for nursing home administrators and be involved with hearings to reissue, revoke, suspend or deny licenses.
